• A favorite quote of mine: ”Life is too short for drama & petty things. So kiss slowly, laugh insanely, love truly and forgive quickly” (that is the hard one for many people) They carry grudges and can’t let it go. Hate and lack of forgiveness is like cancer.

I like to do the usual Florida things, Dinner and walks on the beach are cool. I love to play golf once a week. Pretty good at it and an excellent instructor. My music interests are varied: Jazz, Classical, Country, Alan Jackson, Diana Krall, Sarah Brightman ( The most beautiful voice in the world), Chris Rea, Beth Hart, The Beach Boys, Carlos Santana and most 60’s music

Love most sports. I’m avid Boston sports fan. When my wife died from colon cancer in 2003 I moved to the West Coast, Owning homes in Treasure Island and Gulfport before settling in St.Petersburg. I have three children and 7 grand kids all living in New Hampshire and Maine. I get to see them once or twice a year.

Although I was a successful stock broker in Boston I turned the business over to my son to take care of my wife until she passed away and retired to the Sunshine State. My kids were angry at me for moving, but I wasn’t going to sit around in the snow and cold. Too many years of doing that and too much shoveling. I started a Web Design business and this venture has been quite successful. I spend 8 to 10 hours every day in front of four computer screens, but I know when to take a break. This year marks the 13th anniversary for the business.

Since I’ve been on own for the past 14 years I’ve had to learn how to cook. Not very good at it! Off course I can do breakfast. Thank God for Crock Pots. A life safer for me. It allows me to do my spaghetti and meat balls yum yum. Also I broil Salmon, Cod, Haddock. That is the extent of my culinary talents. I go out for dinner once a week, but most often the foods are loaded with Sodium, which I try to avoid. So it’s difficult to find good restaurants. I’m known for my clean up capabilities. I always clean up the dishes and pans after the meal. I’m known for that. Gee, I sure miss a home cooked meal.

What do I want out of life?

For me it’s difficult being alone, going out to dinner, watching TV, listening to music by self. I do the occasional bar scene, not to pick up anyone but just to get out of the house. I have not been a hermit all this time. I’ve dated several woman, but it hasn’t worked out. I want to find someone to share life with me, carry on a decent conversation. A woman that makes my heart jump when we talk on the phone or see each other. A woman that likes to kiss, cuddle and likes intimacy. I want to fall in love again. I don’t expect her to jump in bed with me on the first date or second date. If there is magic between us that will happen eventually. I love to give flowers to that special person. I always hold the door and never walk ahead or in front of any woman. I’m old fashioned. Nobody is meant to live alone. We all need somebody.
